Three-day actor training with Antonia Cezara Cioaza & Jakob Nielsen (Odin Teatret).
For three days in Berlin, actors Antonia Cezara Cioaza and Jakob Nielsen will share their personal training “Imagining with the Body Mind”, developed together with their director Eugenio Barba since 2022.The training is based on the use of imagination in the pre-expressive level of the creative process of the actor. Through guided work in embodied presence and spontaneous exploration, participants learn to access their intuitive responses and channel them into focused, expressive action.The participants will explore composition by practising varied ways of walking and dancing. They can use the exercises in their personal practice order to enhance their stage presence. The exercises are crafted to let participants tap into their own associations, opening pathways to authentic expression on stage.
About the training

About the trainers
Antonia Cezara Cioaza and Jakob Nielsen are actors of Odin Teatret (Holstebro, Denmark). Together with their director Eugenio Barba they have been developing the training “Imagining with the Body Mind” since January 2022.The Berlin workshop is organised by Anja Demidova, theatre director and facilitator based in Berlin.
